Dive Supervisor

This is the first step in professional diving. As a Dive Supervisor you will learn all the skills and techniques necessary to help other divers perfect their skills. You will lead dives, assist instructors with pool and open water training and reap the rewards of working with other divers. 

As a Dive Supervisor you will have the respect of every dive boat and dive shop owner. The Dive Supervisor is the person who makes the difference in diving for many recreational divers.

The training for this leadership position can vary with the individuals level of experience.  The Dive Supervisor course is designed as an apprenticeship program.  Many Dive Supervisors later enroll in the PDIC Instructor Course.

Prerequisites are you must be 21 years old, have an Advanced Diver and rescue specialty certification with a minimum of 40 logged dives.
